2024 Advisory Board Election Results
We are thrilled to announce the results of our 2024 Advisory Board election as well as our new Convenor, Danielle Brassel of Zurich Insurance Group. A huge thank you to all our nominees and to all the Signatories who submitted ballots.
Comprised of Signatory and host organization representatives, the Advisory Board advises the Secretariat on the strategy, implementation, and evolution of the Impact Principles. In our recent election, seven Advisory Board members were elected to serve a four-year term, including two current members who have been re-elected. In addition, six of our current members will serve additional two-year terms, and our host and initial host (the GIIN and IFC) have standing seats.

A Message from our Convenors
We are delighted to announce that the current Advisory Board has selected Danielle Brassel of Zurich Insurance Group as the new Convenor for 2024-2026, succeeding Maria Teresa Zappia of BlueOrchard Finance.
Bringing an Institutional Asset Owner perspective, and with deep experience and ties to the impact investing industry, Danielle will be a powerful advocate for the Impact Principles as we implement our new strategic plan with greater engagement with the asset owner and allocator communities and work to expand our thought leadership and influence in the global market.
We are also tremendously grateful to Maria Teresa for her extraordinary leadership and support as the Convenor, especially during critical transition years for the Impact Principles.
